We are Colonel's Fly'n Aces, a sanctioned member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA). Our Club was established in 2018. We currently have 15 members ranging from beginner to expert. We enjoy our sky time and we would like for you to join us! Come out and watch us fly or test the skies with an experienced training pilot and FLY FOR FREE! One of the most rewarding parts of this hobby is watching others learn and enjoy flying as much as we do! We frequently have events that are open to the public and everyone is welcome! Field Hours of Operation:
General Information:
Grass runways,
Grass Pit Area, Covered Shelter, Fire Extinguisher, First Aid Kits,
Handicap accessible, Park Flyer Area, Porta-Pots, Privately Owned,
Safety Fences, Setup Tables, Spectator Area
(Spectators Welcome), Startup Stands, Windsocks, and
Workbenches
Activities Permitted:
3D, EDF ,
Electric, Fixed Wing, Gas, Glow, Giant Scale, U-Control, Park Flyers,
Pattern, Gliders.
Field Restrictions:
Turbines
not allowed.
We are located at 5500 Rink Dam Rd. in Taylorsville NC across the road from Crossroads Grill and just down the road from Unity Baptist Church.
